The T5221 Flexible Ratio I/P, E/P Transducer is exclusive for utilization in a very specific monitor system. The T5221 is an electrically-operated air-blowing unit that transforms a DC current or voltage input signal to a corresponding output pressure. The unit comprises of four sections, the Signal Conversion Section, the Pneumatic Section, the Ratio Section, and the Booster Section. The Fairchild T5221 I/P transducer has all the feedback and flow capability characteristics of the T5200 series, with an additional flexible Gain from the ratio section, which allows this single unit to satisfy most industrial and process monitoring needs. The output pressure is a function of signal pressure times the ratio of lever-arm lengths on both faces of the fulcrum.
