The Turbine Flow Meter (Series: TM), manufactured by Kracht®, is typically mounted in a stainless steel-made housing with two rotor shafts. In fact, the material used in the bearing of this device is either PTFE or tungsten carbide, thus even the most abrasive/aggressive fluids is capable of being measured.
The medium involved in this flow meter passes through the turbine blades, therefore making the rotor wheel rotate at a speed directly proportional to the velocity of the fluid. As each of these rotor blades pass through a magnetic field that is produced by the transducer, a voltage output is then created.
