DuroTec® Gear Pumps DT 5 is designed to process abrasive and poor lubricating fluids. It was initiated by the KRACHT in 1990 for the abrasive and poor lubricating fluids. Initially, there were subsequent improvements in the pumps. The limit of the application gear of the pumps is reached to the maximum level while transferring the medium that does not have required lubrication for the process. The pump requires high operating pressure at the same time.
Silicates (sodium silicate), isocyanides and polyols are some examples of problematic fluids and it is important to process these fluids with hard filters that are available in the PUR-technology. The air or humidity influence the crystallization of these fluids and aggravates occur due to the lack of lubricity. The gear has great protection against wear and the material is used according to the application requirements. The heat treatment and surface geometry are considered while using the coating technology. The pump has higher demands.
