The Kracht pump series which includes the BT and BTH models. These models are reduced speed gear pumps designed for conveying average to high viscosity liquids. The liquid transferred should posses certain properties such as minimal amount of lubricating property, don't contain any solids and chemically can be compared with components of construction. Grey cast iron is the standard material used in most housing and covering of specific gear pumps. On the other hand, the shafts and gears are engineered from case hardening steel which are hardened and ground. The shaft is modified through the use of bronze and with an optional sintered iron. The rotary shaft seal then is a set of PTFE filled aramid yarn, static sealing between couple parts and fluid sealants or gaskets.
