The SERCOS 2 offers all the benefits of digital drive technology. One notable feature of this instrument is its extremely small cycle time, which are geared towards the actual and transfer values between the control units and control systems. In combination with accurate synchronization, the SERCOS 2 assures top notch precision and dynamics. Secure transfer of real data and reduced wiring is guaranteed thanks to the signal transfer via fiber optics capability. 
The correct interface for connecting IndraDyn motors or other general encoders such as Hiperface® is already embedded into the instrument. With the engineering framework IndraWorks, the one seamless start-up option is through the SERCOS service channel and the other is with the RS232 interface. .
