The Fairchild T6100 "Lock in Last Place" I/P pressure transducer represents an excellent solution for applications requiring added safeguard against failure of critical control system instruments. This device features a unique design and offers exceptional reliability, versatility and safety combined with very efficient, user-friendly, voice coil actuation for locking of "Last Position" (for accurate set point acquiring with very low drift value). In case of a power loss, the electrical charge stored in the activated electronic circuit, that controls the proprietary integrated solenoid valve module (located between the booster section and the flapper-nozzle pilot), allows maintaining current to the voice coil at last set point value, after signal loss. In addition, at the same moment a high energy pulse is used to close the solenoid valve, locking the signal pressure inside the signal chamber. This model also features IP65 protection, permitting use in moist environments.
