As a fusion motion and PLC functions The IndraMotion MLD provides 
an open automation platform for modular machine designs that is 
both compact and very powerful. The design features a distributed 
control architecture and no longer needs higher-order controls as it is 
based on the scalable IndraDrive platform. It is available in single-axis 
control version, when intended for use with simple applications, or 
multi-axis control version, for applications that require up to 10 axes. 
It is equipped with ready to use function libraries that greatly simplify 
the use of intelligent drive functions. 
The PLCopen-conforming function blocks are used in order to give 
access to standard motion control functions.
The design features drive-integrated motion-control that is in accordance 
with IEC 61131-3.
